Lauren + AJ’s Meredith Manor Wedding

Lauren and AJ were one of my couples that booked everything over the phone and I was feeling nervous heading to the wedding since we never had met. Since a funeral processing held up the guys arriving, we ended up going with plan B for prewedding formals and I got to hang out at Lauren’s maid of honor’s house for a while before we took off. That made me feel much more at ease and thanks to my photographic memory I remembered a great location on the way to Meredith Manor. So, enjoy their day…I certainly had a blast.

After reflecting on Lauren and AJ’s day, here are some of my favorite images…

This was just amazing light as the sun was setting…no flash or anything, just the reflection of the sun off a bright white gazebo

Laughter is better than smiles in my opinion, and the ladies were just being silly

Bond…James Bond…

Thought this was the cutest way a bride ever held a father’s hand

I didn’t prompt this at all, nice touch Lauren and AJ, especially AJ’s foot

Right place…and paying attention to everything going on around me

Lauren is a brave woman, red white right out of the bottle!

For what reason are you looking to use the images?

I am interested in learning more regarding your pricing as well as this bride’s contact information. I would love to speak with her regarding her wedding at Meredith Manor as well as her photography. I love the pictures! Looking forward to hearing back! Hope she is willing to share her experience with me!

Matt & Megan’s King of Prussia Wedding

Matt and Megan had a perfect wedding day over the Labor Day weekend. It was a blast to see fire trucks at a wedding, a huge spider, and a Penn State wedding cake…and Penn State won their opening football game! Enjoy their day!

What a busy September, now just finally getting to my favorite moments of the day…

Ah…Penn State women! Not only did we have a blast taking some images in the bar, but we had to make sure the Penn State game was on…perhaps the last time they won this season!

Communion is one of the best parts of Catholic services…the interaction with the couple and the guests is great…just need to be patient!

This is a HUGE spider that the bridal party could see from 15 feet away!

Really looked like a starry night on the dance floor…

Best man’s toast was great, touching, and I thought a little rim lighting was poignant!

I can’t tell if she was grossed out or found it hilarious!

Sometimes guests being camera aware can be funny…I believe this image got more comments on Facebook than any other!

Jackie + Mike’s Penn Oaks Country Club Wedding

Jackie emailed me on Thursday, February 4th a day before one of the huge snow storms we got last winter. Her email asked if we can do their engagement session in the snow…it clinched the fact that I was going to have a great time working with them. So, we trekked through 30 inches of snow and through 90 degree temperatures on their wedding. A perfect balance! Here is their day…

Click the shopping cart in the slideshow to purchase images from these images. All images from this wedding will be available in six weeks.

And here are my favorite moments of the day…

We did this in the snow engagement session as well…all their idea

Now this is how you get down in a wedding dress…

What a great look from Jackie’s Mom to her husband…

I don’t know if it was  a slip of the tongue or intentional, but the best man toast referred to the homily as the eulogy…nice reaction from Jackie’s sister!

Sword fighting with the bridesmaids…thanks Heather for being there to capture this action!

Oh little box of coolness you make me so happy…

Kimberly & Jon’s French Creek Country Club Wedding

Kimberly and Jon’s day might have been HOT but the day was smooth and they were both so cool all day long. Even starting the day with the hair dresser’s power out…Kimberly improvised. When the power was out at the reception…they rolled with it (fortunately French Creek had generators to keep the power on!). Everything fell into place with thanks to God…and they have Him to thank for finding each other. What a perfect couple and I was honored to witness this…

This was the sister of Kelly from last year and although it was in the same church and reception location, I worked very hard to make it look different as possible. But one thing remained the same apparently…this is an email from Kelly after I put the slideshow online…

“…it was great seeing you at Kim and Jon’s wedding.  It brought back memories of how you were such a “calming” presence on my wedding day.  You were so laid back and just helped me relax the whole day!  I talked to Kim and she felt the same way.:) Thanks again.”

That being said…here are my favorite moments from the day…

I rarely get to see this, bride and groom zooming away in the dark to the hotel before leaving for the honeymoon!

Kim’s face is just amazing…

Josh, one of the groomsmen, and one of my grooms from last year, actually called his wife and asked if he was really supposed to wear these socks…

A little blurry, yes, but walking backwards with the couple down the aisle isn’t exactly easy to do, but this is a great moment of joy

This isn’t exactly joy…but hilarious…note ring pillow on the ground and puckering lip of the flower girl…

Reading Jon’s note to her…Jon reading her note was about the same reaction

Terri + Drew’s Wedding

Thanks to shooting Drew’s brother’s wedding a few years ago, it was almost a foregone conclusion that I’d at least be considered for Drew and Terri’s wedding. Although we didn’t have a chance to connect on an engagement session…photographing their wedding was like photographing family. Yes, it was HOT but you would never know by their attitude throughout the day.

There were lots of great, funny, moments throughout the day, here are my favorites…

Poetic for me…that is her Dad’s shadow on the wall to the right…as he is seeing his daughter in her dress for the first time

It was hot, but this moment is about holding it together which Terri was trying to do all day long!

I don’t think I need to comment on this…

I don’t recall what was in the shot they all did, but Terri’s Mom didn’t think it tasted all that great!
