Sam & Kyle’s Radnor Country Club Wedding

I have known Sam (or as we know her, Rummy) for years through our church. My wife and I have watched her go from a goofy middle schooler, to a gorgeous bride. It was an honor to capture her day, and I was honestly nervous as all get out from Thursday through the entire wedding day. It’s one of those things, when I know the couple really, really, well I want to make sure I get everything perfect. Hopefully you will enjoy the fruits of my nervousness!

Maria + Steve’s New Years Eve Wedding

Maria was a bridesmaid for Nicole and John’s wedding in 2009 and thanks to her experience seeing me work, she contacted me about her wedding. I had never photographed a New Years Eve wedding and was up for it since I normally don’t make it to midnight anyway! The day could not have been better, for one it warmed up, had a lovely layer of snow, and it all went as planned. Enjoy a small look at their day…

Michelle + Allan’s Greystone Hall Wedding

I have known Michelle’s mother for at least 15 years from her days at West Chester University. I had the privilege to take senior portraits for Michelle and her brother several years ago. It was that experience that introduced them to me and I was honored to be chosen for their wedding…including the fact they had to pay for me to be there photographer at Greystone Hall.

It was a warmer than usual day for November which made for a great day. We had a last minute change so I was able to start with the ladies at Avante Salon and had a great time the entire day. The special touches with Allan’s family being from Scotland using their tartan kilts was just awesome, concluding with a great original poem for the couple. Enjoy a look at their day!

And a special thanks to my friend David Zaveloff for filling in for my usual second photographer!

The day was filled with lots of special moments, here are my favorites…

I got a call from Michelle about the time I was supposed to head over to the house, and they were behind schedule and still at the salon, so I altered plans and took off to Avante to hang with the girls…Michelle’s Mom was about finished and trying to figure out some schedule details as I got there

There is something interesting about this image, I don’t know what…

A great reaction to the fact that the time had almost arrived

Yeaaaa, in the dress!

Liz (Michelle’s mother) could barely hold it together as Michelle finalized getting ready

Yea…again

Liz kept crying every time she looked at Michelle, so I tried this instead

Allan caught me…I wonder if he was looking at me so he didn’t cry looking at Michelle

My little girl…

A quiet moment from one of the junior groomsmen who was not so still or quiet most of the day

Just an interesting perspective on the exit

Most toasts elicit a full range of emotions from laughter…

…to tears

A great moment when Michelle’s brother gave a little toast and Liz (mother of the bride and brother) watched on in a perfect spot

One of my favorite times of the reception, is when the bride and groom slip into the middle of the dance floor during a slow song, and dance like they are the only two people in the room, and most of the time, a real kiss results, as if no one is looking (except me)

Lauren + AJ’s Meredith Manor Wedding

Lauren and AJ were one of my couples that booked everything over the phone and I was feeling nervous heading to the wedding since we never had met. Since a funeral processing held up the guys arriving, we ended up going with plan B for prewedding formals and I got to hang out at Lauren’s maid of honor’s house for a while before we took off. That made me feel much more at ease and thanks to my photographic memory I remembered a great location on the way to Meredith Manor. So, enjoy their day…I certainly had a blast.

After reflecting on Lauren and AJ’s day, here are some of my favorite images…

This was just amazing light as the sun was setting…no flash or anything, just the reflection of the sun off a bright white gazebo

Laughter is better than smiles in my opinion, and the ladies were just being silly

Bond…James Bond…

Thought this was the cutest way a bride ever held a father’s hand

I didn’t prompt this at all, nice touch Lauren and AJ, especially AJ’s foot

Right place…and paying attention to everything going on around me

Lauren is a brave woman, red white right out of the bottle!

Matt & Megan’s King of Prussia Wedding

Matt and Megan had a perfect wedding day over the Labor Day weekend. It was a blast to see fire trucks at a wedding, a huge spider, and a Penn State wedding cake…and Penn State won their opening football game! Enjoy their day!

What a busy September, now just finally getting to my favorite moments of the day…

Ah…Penn State women! Not only did we have a blast taking some images in the bar, but we had to make sure the Penn State game was on…perhaps the last time they won this season!

Communion is one of the best parts of Catholic services…the interaction with the couple and the guests is great…just need to be patient!

This is a HUGE spider that the bridal party could see from 15 feet away!

Really looked like a starry night on the dance floor…

Best man’s toast was great, touching, and I thought a little rim lighting was poignant!

I can’t tell if she was grossed out or found it hilarious!

Sometimes guests being camera aware can be funny…I believe this image got more comments on Facebook than any other!
