Aileen and Nick were just awesome to photograph! Their emotion and love for each other was worn on their sleeves. With the third wedding in eighteen months for Aileen’s family, they were certainly experts at this point. It was an incredible day despite needing a knife to cut through the heat and humidity! Nick asked me one question when they met with me long ago…will you make me look good? I tried and believe I succeeded. He is a great guy and we all had a good time despite blazing heat…did I mention it was hot this summer for EVERY wedding!

Right place…right time…and a little luck. Actually I was watching here the entire time Nick and Aileen went out for a little dance after dinner. The light happened to be positioned just right and BANG…got it!
Photography during the dancing is as much about listening as it is watching…this was happening across the dance floor from me and I heard it…welcome to the family Nick!
